Swiftalk policy

Data Collection

This notice summarises the categories of information Swiftalk uses to operate its social features, keep users safe, process purchases, maintain service reliability, and improve the product. Our Privacy Policy explains the full framework, including sharing, retention, and your rights.

Account and profile information

When you create or manage an account, we may process your email address, phone number where supplied, username, display name, date-of-birth information, authentication and verification status, profile image, banner, bio, links, preferences, and account settings. This information helps us create, secure, and personalise your account.

Content and communications

We process the content you choose to provide through posts, comments, replies, Shorts, images, videos, captions, server messages, community activity, direct messages, reports, and attachments. We also process associated metadata such as creation time, visibility, reactions, saves, shares, and moderation status so the relevant feature can work.

Usage, safety, and technical information

We may collect device, browser, operating-system, IP-address, request, cookie, local-storage, crash, performance, and security-event information. We use this to prevent abuse, diagnose outages, protect accounts, enforce rate limits, investigate reports, and make the service more reliable.

Payments and subscriptions

For paid features, we process purchase and entitlement information such as product, platform, order or transaction reference, subscription status, and refund or support history. Payment-card information is handled by the relevant payment provider or app store; Swiftalk does not need to receive raw card details to provide an entitlement.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, deliver requested features, communicate about your account, personalise relevant content, measure feature performance, process transactions, comply with legal obligations, and protect users and Swiftalk from fraud, spam, harmful content, and other abuse.

Sharing and retention

Information is shared only where needed to operate the service, for example with service providers, payment providers, or competent authorities where required by law. We retain information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements.

Your choices and rights

You can update certain profile and account settings in Swiftalk. You may also have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your data. See the Privacy Policy and Data Subject Access Request Policy for the request process.
