Swiftalk is a social platform for posting, watching short videos, joining communities, creating servers, sending messages, building profiles, managing pets, and buying profile cosmetics. The product is designed to feel familiar to social media users while keeping account actions safer and easier to support.

What You Can Do On Swiftalk

The feed lets people share updates, photos, videos, and conversations. Posts support likes, dislikes, comments, replies, reports, and sharing so users can interact without losing context.

Shorts are full-screen vertical videos with sound controls, reactions, comments, reporting, and profile links. They are optimized for mobile browsing and are progressively loaded to reduce memory use.

Servers and communities give users dedicated spaces for group discussion. Members can join, leave, post updates, open rooms or channels, and participate in safer focused conversations.

Messages provide private conversations, inbox filtering, requests, and spam separation. Messaging is tied to real accounts so users can keep control of their conversations and Swiftalk can handle abuse reports responsibly.

Profiles show a user’s public identity, avatar, banner, purchased flags, cosmetics, follower counts, posts, and contact actions. Public profile URLs use readable usernames where possible so accounts are easier to share and find.

Pets and profile cosmetics let users personalize their account. The store supports previewing cosmetic items, buying through Stripe, and equipping owned banners or decorations from profile settings.

Accounts, Safety, And Guest Access

Visitors can browse public areas as guests for a limited time, but account actions such as following, liking, commenting, messaging, posting, joining spaces, reporting, purchases, and profile changes require login or registration. This protects the community from spam, fake reactions, and unsafe messages.

Swiftalk supports email accounts, Google sign-in, profile recovery flows, and account data syncing with the backend. Guest prompts are shown periodically so people understand when they need to sign in to continue participating.

Payments And Purchases

Cosmetics and other paid features are processed through Stripe Checkout. Successful purchases are fulfilled through backend webhook handling so owned items can be attached to the correct Swiftalk account.

Platform Direction

The current web experience is being moved into a maintainable Next.js frontend. That lets Swiftalk improve feed rendering, dark mode, mobile layouts, search, profile customization, payments, and deployment reliability without relying on emergency hotfix scripts.

Swiftalk’s long-term goal is to combine social posting, short-form video, communities, servers, private messaging, creator tools, pets, and profile customization in one clean cross-device platform.
